Elegant and rare Rolo table, 19th century

Elegant and rare table; round top entirely veneered and threaded in various woods and bearing in the center an inlaid medallion with mythological figures, including the god Apollo. Faceted central column resting on an elegantly inlaid tripod base with stylized floral motifs that recall the arabesque ornamentation. The band features a double thread. The table presents a refined chromatic effect and stands as an exemplary piece of cabinet making from the workshop of Ugo and Vincenzo Mari, cabinet makers active in Rolo in the 19th century.
