Elegant chest of drawers entirely veneered in rosewood and inlaid with various woods. Veneered brocatello marble top from Spain. Florence, circa 1790 cm 88 x 135 x 58 The furniture is connected to the Florentine production of the late 18th century, when cabinetmakers such as Matteo Larti, Gaspero and Pietro Landi, Francesco Giorgi, Marco Calestrini, Francesco Faini and Felice Ulivelli, to name some were paid by the grand-ducal wardrobe for the production of various furnishings.
